How a term with a tutor works

Each lesson feeds the next, and every school test gets its own rehearsal.
1 Every lesson

Lesson

Concepts and problems in the order your child’s school teaches them.

2 Every week

Report

What was covered and how it went, sent to parents.

3 Before each test

Mock test

A practice paper on the expected questions, then a top-up lesson if needed.

4 After

Error review

Mistakes fixed in the next lesson, before they reach the real exam.

Built around your school

Lessons planned around your child, not a template

The teacher follows your school’s pace and calendar: the unit in class this week, the test coming up next, the topic that never quite clicked. Lessons can move between weeks when school gets busy. Watch how Cindy teaches English, or meet Cindy.
  • Each lesson about an hour and a half
  • A weekly report to parents on what was covered and how it went

Between lessons

A message away when something comes up

Stuck on homework the night before a test? Students can message their teacher directly between lessons, on the app families already use: KakaoTalk in Korea, WeChat in China, WhatsApp in the UK.
  • Direct contact with the teacher, not a front desk
  • Students taking three or more subjects also get a monthly check-in with an academic coordinator
An essay draft with the teacher's suggested edits
Coursework

The IA, handled inside the lessons

The internal assessment can move a grade more than any single test. We track your child’s IA deadlines and work on it within the regular lessons, at no extra cost, so the draft that goes to school is one you’re happy with.
  • Deadlines tracked from topic to final draft
