Feedback that shows the way, without writing it for them

When a comment isn’t enough, the teacher writes an example to show the direction, or edits a passage the student understood but couldn’t fix. The work stays your child’s own: we don’t ghost-write.

Three tasks, three different jobs

Internal Assessment

Coursework in each subject, usually 20–30% of the subject grade: an investigation, experiment or report rather than an exam.

Extended Essay

A 4,000-word research essay on a question your child chooses, written over about a year: the closest thing to a university paper.

How we know what we know. Assessed by an exhibition and an essay on one of six prescribed titles.

ToK

ToK tutoring: the essay and the exhibition

ToK has its own teacher. One-to-one ToK tutoring covers the exhibition (choosing three objects and writing the commentary) and the essay on one of the six prescribed titles, with its argument structure and choice of areas of knowledge. Lessons are online, so students abroad join as easily as those in Seoul.

Common questions

No. Teachers explain, give examples and edit passages so the feedback can be applied, but the work is the student’s own, as the IB requires.

Sessions are booked one at a time, after the last, so the plan simply moves with the new date.

The IA is handled inside regular 1:1 lessons at no extra cost. The EE, ToK and extra IA hours are booked here, as 6-hour (IA, ToK) or 12-hour (EE) packages.
