Systematic Management for Grade Improvement
Every student is assigned a dedicated TA who tracks attendance, runs twice-weekly progress check-ins, and delivers a written report to parents every week — with scores, supervision notes, and what to work on next.
Receive management from IBtheTOP and improve your grades
Each student is assigned to a dedicated TA who personally owns three things for them: helping them catch up after class, evaluating whether they've absorbed the material, and being there when they study.
Extra Study with Your Assigned TA
Fast-paced IB classes can leave gaps, and a solid grasp of each topic is crucial for smooth progression. Your child's assigned TA sits with them to fill those gaps before the next class — your child explains the key concepts back, and the TA assesses whether they've actually absorbed it or just memorised it.
If the TA spots a deeper issue, they actively call out the struggling student instead of waiting and talk to the subject teacher to corroborate what the student needs — so the fix happens before it shows up in a mock result.
Mock Exams + 24-hour Marking Returned
To make sure students truly grasp what they've learned, we run mock exams at the end of each topic — weekly for workshops, monthly for GPA and Regular Class. Composed of past paper questions, run under timed and supervised conditions, so students practise applying knowledge in real exam-like settings.
Marked work returns within 24 hours thanks to our AI-assisted marking pipeline — every mark then human-reviewed by the Subject TA for academic correctness. The assigned TA reviews the errors with your child the next session. If target grades aren't met, retakes are scheduled with supplementary lessons as needed.
Study After Class in Two Supervision Rooms
Your child doesn't have to wait days for the next class to get the help they need. They stay after class in one of our two supervision rooms, with TAs on hand to clarify a tricky concept the moment it comes up.
Two rooms, one for each mode of study: the Quiet Room has silent individual cubicles for IA writing and exam revision; the Interactive Room has group tables and whiteboards for problem-solving alongside peers. Your child uses the right space for the right task — and studying alongside study mates keeps them motivated and focused.
Our systematic approach leads to inevitable grade improvement
Mock Exam
Mistakes reveal gaps in understanding. For GPA classes, students review errors with their teacher the next class; for Regular Class and Workshop, the assigned TA does the error analysis with the student. If target grades aren't met, retakes and supplementary lessons are scheduled.
Supplementary Class
True understanding is when a student can confidently explain a concept back. Students explain key concepts to their assigned TA, who assesses comprehension and fills any gaps. Goes beyond solving test questions — focuses on mastering the fundamentals so students truly understand and retain what they learn.
Supervision
Students resolve homework or problem-solving difficulties on the spot with TA's help — in either the Quiet Room (silent focus) or the Interactive Room (group tables, whiteboards). Beyond academic support, studying alongside peers creates the motivating spirit that makes it easier to focus and get the work done. Mandatory if performance grade falls short or requested by parent.
