SL + HL
2025 syllabus

A full-syllabus IB Physics course built from a decade of teaching SL and HL students — concept-first explanations, every past-paper trick worth knowing, and the exact mark-scheme language IB examiners reward.

This isn't a video version of a textbook. Every lesson opens with the conceptual hook that makes the equation feel obvious, then drills the variations that show up in real IB papers. Whether your child is starting DP1 or three weeks from the May exam, the course adapts to where they are.

What you'll learn

The entire 2025 IB Physics SL syllabus, taught topic by topic with worked past-paper examples
HL extension lessons — rotational dynamics, electromagnetic induction, quantum & nuclear physics
Paper-by-paper strategy: how to allocate time in Paper 1 (MCQ), Paper 2 (structured), Paper 3 (data & experiments)
IA-friendly investigation suggestions for every topic, with research-question templates
The 12 highest-yield equations — what they actually mean, when to use them, and what examiners are looking for
Mark-scheme language: how to phrase explanations so the marker can't avoid giving the mark

Frequently asked questions

Is this course suitable for both SL and HL students?

Yes. The core syllabus is taught in the main 50 lessons. HL students get 10 additional extension lessons covering the AHL topics (rotational dynamics, EM induction, thermodynamics, quantum/nuclear). You watch only what your level requires.

I'm starting DP1. Is it too early?

It's the ideal time. Module 1 (Mechanics) maps directly to what most schools teach in DP1 Term 1. You can stay one week ahead of your school cohort and use the course as pre-learning.

How long do I have access?

12 months of full access from the enrolment date. You can re-watch any lesson as many times as you need. Notes, problem sets, and mark schemes are downloadable PDFs and yours to keep.

What if my child wants in-person tutoring instead?

Salomon also teaches in person at IBtheTOP's Gangnam classroom. View Salomon's teacher profile or contact us to book a 1:1 trial.
