John spent his school years moving between international schools in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, finishing the IB Diploma as **salutatorian of Jakarta Intercultural School**. The discussion-based, interdisciplinary thinking of the IB shaped his learning style and led him to KAIST, where he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Over 8 years of teaching, he has guided more than 100 students through IA and EE projects — his particular specialty.
