About
Yuseung is uniquely positioned to teach both Maths AA and English — a combination that grew naturally from his own background. He completed his IB Diploma at Regent's International School Pattaya, then earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Seoul. The engineering training sharpens his maths instruction, while his fluency in English literary analysis serves Korean students who struggle with the leap from school English to IB Lang Lit demands.
Teaching Style
Cross-discipline translation
Translates each subject into the other's language — using logical structure to demystify literary analysis, and narrative context to make maths memorable.
Humanities-for-Maths, STEM-for-English
Specifically designed for humanities students who find IB Maths intimidating, and STEM students who find IB English unintuitive — meeting them where they are.
Complementary-skills reframing
Students leave seeing both subjects as complementary skills rather than opposites — reducing anxiety and building confidence across both disciplines.
